Draw & Edit Territories — Right in the Browser

Draw and adjust territory boundaries right in the browser — with preview, household estimates, and a full change history.

Territory boundaries change: a new development goes up, a territory is split or merged. In congrega you draw and edit territory outlines right in the browser — without GIS software. Every change is saved and can be rolled back if needed.

Draw without GIS software

Place a territory’s corner points right on the map and adjust the outline with your mouse. No QGIS, no specialist software — the editor runs in the browser and is ready to go.

Household estimate

As you draw, congrega estimates the number of households in the territory. That helps you size territories sensibly so they end up neither too large nor too small.

Full change history

Every change to the outline is recorded. You can view earlier versions and restore them with one click — so if an adjustment doesn’t work out, nothing is lost.

Map stays current

After a change, the print map can be regenerated from the latest OpenStreetMap data. So the outline and map content always match.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need GIS skills to draw?
No. The editor runs in the browser and works with the mouse — place corner points, move them, done.
Can I undo a change?
Yes. The change history lets you view earlier versions and restore them with one click.
What does the household estimate mean?
congrega estimates from the map data how many households fall within the drawn area — as guidance for sizing.
Do I have to regenerate the map after a change?
For an up-to-date print map, yes — that’s one click from the latest OpenStreetMap data.
